Wife of the Nigeria’s President, Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday visited the Nyanya General Hospital on the outskirt of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, at the instance of the First Baby of the Year 2019 who was delivered in the hospital.
Aisha Buhari, who was represented during the visit by the Senior Special Assistant to the President in her office, Dr. Hajo Sani, splashed the first baby of the year with varieties of gifts including cash that would be enough to take care of the babyhood of the new born.
Dr. Hajo Sani, on behalf of the wife of the President, wished the parents of the first new baby, Mr Linus and Mrs Anne Ameh, well.
Cuddling the baby already named Dominion Ameh, Hajo described the fact that the first new baby of the year 2019 in the FCT is first child of the couple makes it “very important to us”.
Among hospital officials who received the representatives of the Wife of the President was Head of Nursing, Mrs Janet Omotosho.
Gifts were also presented to other babies found in the same ward with the first baby.
