APC National Peace Committee for South East begins work Thursday – Kano Governor, Ganduje

The National Committee on Peace and Reconciliation on APC Post-Primary Elections covering South East Zone has announced its schedule of meetings.

Chairman of the Zonal Peace and Reconciliation Committee and Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, made this known in a statement he personally, copy of which was sent to the The DEFENDER on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Governor Ganduje said the committee had “in line with its mandate scheduled to meet all stakeholders in the zone in their respective states.”

He added that the committee would meet with all stakeholders particularly all aspirants, all candidates for 2019 elections – at all levels, all aggrieved persons or groups – if any and all other major stakeholders.

“The venue for the interactions, except otherwise, shall be the Party Secretariat of the individual states.  If there shall be any changes, all stakeholders in the affected states shall be duly notified.

“The visit which shall commence from Thursday 29th November 2018 as follows: Owerri – Imo State, 29th November 2018; Umuahia – Abia State, 30th November 2018; Abakaliki – Ebonyi State, 2nd December 2018 and Enugu – Enugu State, 2nd December 2018.

“The committee seeks the kindness of all party faithful to prepare their minds for amicable settlement of all disputes and conflicts with a view to reaching agreements that will ensure stability of the party and guaranty victory in the 2019 elections,” Governor Ganduje said.
