The Senior Pastor of the Central Assemblies of God Church, Tema Community 4, Ghana, Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado, has been reportedly stabbed to death.
The DEFENDER gathered that the pastor died following attack on him while preparing to leave his inner office to the main church auditorium to preach as service was ongoing, on Sunday December 30, 2018.
According to City News Room (CNR), a Ghanaian media organization, Nabegmado’s death came four hours after he was rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment due to injury he sustained from the attack.
The alleged attacker, who has been identified as a nephew of the pastor, is said to have been arrested by passersby and some church members, and handed over to the police.
In the meatime, the Tema Regional Police Command has begun investigations into incident leading to the death of the pastor.
