PRESIDENT VISIT: President Muhammadu Buhari conversing with Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, who conferred him with the traditional title of Sadaukan Gwandu, during his courtesy visit to the palace in Kebbi State on Wednesday 23rd January 2019.
President Muhammadu Buhari, after arrival via Sir Ahmadu Bello Airport, Birnin Kebbi, from Sokoto State on Wednesday 23 January 2019, visited the Palace of the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar. During the visit, the President, who was received by the Emir, told the monarch his mission in the state. The Gwandu monarch presented the President with his Certificate after being conferred with the traditional title of Sadaukan Gwandu, during the courtesy visit to the palace. Like for other politicians, Emir Bashar gave his guidance as royal father to the President and offered him prayers.
