The National Movement for Positive Change (NMPC) has express its appreciation to its numerous audience across the globe, wishing them a merry Christmas and a blissful new year in 2018.
The Movement in a statement signed by its President Barrister Niyi Aborisade enjoins stakeholders and audience to celebrate the Christmas according to the dictate of the bible in offering gifts to the needy.
He said, ”According to the scripture, Christmas period is a time of reflection on the occasion when God offered the humanity His most priceless and cherished gift in his only begotten son- Jesus Christ.
“Because of the this, as we have earmarked a particular time to remember this season, Christians in particular should endeavour to make the period a memorable one in the lives of their neighbours by offering them a gift they will live to remember. It is only in doing this, that we can uprightly say we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ-which symbolises giving in our various communities.
“Christmas goes beyond celebrating in individual person’s apartment. It also means peace and tolerance in all ramifications. Let us all love our brothers by living in peace and maintaining that peace always.”
