A former member of the House of Representative, Chinedu Nwoko, has lauded the positive feats recorded by President Muhammadu Buhari-led anti-corruption campaign.

Nwoko, who once sponsored “Public Funds Recovery and Reward Commission’s bill” at the House said the current campaign to recover all looted public funds through the whistle-blowing policy which was his mission had made him a fulfilled personality.

The former federal legislator, who represented Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency between 1999 and 2003, voiced his belief in the ability of President Buhari to rid the country of corruption with the needed support.

Nwoko, who spoke through his Personal Assistant, Mohammed Bologi, also voiced hope that government would extend the whistle-blowing policy to arms and other areas that require urgent national attention.

He said, “Naturally, when you are fighting corruption, it is natural that those who do not have faith in the current action of the government to feel that way. As you can see, you have to start from somewhere. The government is on track; it is already pursuing it.

Nwoko recalled that he initiated the Public Fund Recovery and Reward Commission Bill, which according to him, translated into the whistle-blowing policy.
