Three major families of Kwara State are in great excitement already as the Head, Public Affairs Unit of the University of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Kunle Akogun, will on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April 2019 lead a son and a daughter to well deserved aqidun-nikah ceremonies, holding separately in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
While the son, Abdulrasheed Oluwashola Akogun’s wedding to Balqees Temitope of the Usman Olorunrinu Beliki Agara Family, Ile Oniwara, Ilorin will come first on Friday 19 April on the Open Field of Kwara State Television, Apata in the state capital, Akogun’s daughter and Abdulrasheed’s sister, Ganiyah Iyabo, will be led on the following day of Saturday 20 April to Hasbunallah Villa, on Police F Division Road, Tanke, Ilorin for her marriage with Abdulhakeem Babatunde of the Sulaiman Olanrewaju Sanni Family of Ile Alapo, Oke Onigbin in the Kwara South zone of Kwara.
The DEFENDER’s President, AIG Mu’azu Idris Hadejia (Rtd), will be represented at the occasions by the newspaper’s Director/Editor, Prince Bashir Olorunkemi Adefaka, among other Nigerians attending.
