Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was sighted in Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.

In a post on his Facebook wall, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, confirmed the visit, saying he was received in audience by his principal.

Although Mr. Adesina did not give details of what both sitting and former leaders discussed during their meeting which held into early evening of the day, it would suggested it would not be unconnected to Jonathan’s frantic effort to explain himself to President Buhari over issues of national interest.

Jonathan, who was recently accused by former Prime Minister of United Kingdom David Cameron of corruption and doing nothing to timely save Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped by terrorist Boko Haram insurgents on April 14, 2014, arrived at the State House at about 3.00 p.m and went straight to the president’s office.
