Mr. Fayose, the likes of who were laughed over by the President who described their tales about his health as lies, had said the President was on life support machine in a London hospital to show that he was incapable and therefore unfit to continue in office as President.  He added that Aisha’s “hurried” trip to London confirmed his information.  What Fayose, who said God had told him he would be President of Nigeria after Buhari, did not tell Nigerians was how his “sensationalised fake news” about Mr. President would translate to either his emerging as President now or in near future.  But Aisha neutralised those lies without a bit of reference to their authors with her Facebook post that declared the President “is now well”.

More cheering news have begun to filter into the Nigerian airspace as updates are given about now hailing and clearly improved health of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has been in London on medical vacation.

The good news started with a post on Facebook account of his wife, Aisha, who shortly after arriving in London via Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital where she had a stop over to attend a summit of African first ladies declared to Nigerians that God had answered their prayers over the state of her husband’s health and said the king would soon be back to kick the hyenas and the jackals out of his kingdom.

The newest of the more cheering news about President Buhari’s health condition emerged following a telephone conversation put to Nigeria from London by Governor of Imo State, Chief Rochas Okorocha, who spoke about “The Buhari we met” as scripted in a state house press release issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, copy of which was made available to The DEFENDER on Sunday.

The statement said, “In a telephone conversation following the meeting of All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and leaders with President Muhammadu Buhari in London Sunday, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, said the President was very cheerful and has not lost any bit of his sense of humour.

“The governor said the party delegation spent more than an hour with President Buhari over lunch, and it was very clear from the discussions that he followed developments at home very closely.

“He said the President was delighted to receive the delegation and asked each governor about affairs in his state. He also asked the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, about the state of the railways.

“When asked to react to all the negative things being said about him, the President just laughed, describing such negative reports as lies. Governor Okorocha said President Buhari was completely unperturbed by the cocktail of lies. He, instead, sent his best wishes to Nigerians.

“According to the governor, Nigerians don’t have to worry at all, adding that President Buhari will be back as soon as the doctors give him the green light,” it said.

Merchants of lies put out of business

“By our visit to London today, the merchants of lies have been put out of business and Nigerians will not buy the garbage they have been selling. All those who look up to fake news can find better use for their time,” Governor Okorocha noted.

Governors Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa; Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna; Yahaya Bello of Kogi; and APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, were also in the delegation.

The DEFENDER’s investigations revealed that Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose is clearly a leading force in fake news about the state of health of Mr. President and evil plots against him.

Fayose and his team members like Femi Fani-Kayode and others, it was gathered, further received a heartbreak when on invitation by the President, the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, travelled to London and held an over one hour meeting with him.

It was then the place of Fayose to turn round with a threat to release 11 damaging photos about President Buhari’s state of health none of which threats he has carried out.

Many Nigerians had expressed exhaustion that Fayose and histeam, now being taunted as the new face of “opposition” in Nigeria would be left continue the way they do. But Femi Adesina, Buhari’s presidential image maker, spokesman and special adviser told why his likes, who he described as the descenders of Shimei and ‘filthy dreamers’, never deserved his replies.

Adesina however expressed the certainty that all the merchants of lies and plotters of evil against President Muhammadu Buhari recently made the leading force for anti-corruption fight in Africa by the African Union, would come back to aooligise when the President returns.
