The Nigerian security operatives have arrested senator Dino Melaye after he had been declared wanted for several weeks.
The Senator representing Kogi West according to a tweet on his Twitter handle explained that he was arrested at the International wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
“I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Govt after checking in,” Senator Dino Melaye tweeted.
The Police Headquarters could not be reached as at press time for confirmation of Melaye’s claim.
