The Attah and Paramount Ruler of Aiyede Kingdom, Ekiti State, Oba Alhaji AbdulMumini Adebayo Orishagbemi, has condoled The DEFENDER Newspaper management over the death of Alhaji Imran Shittu Awosanya, father of its Manager Administration, Hajia Basirat Shittu-Adefaka.

In his condolence message, Attah Orishagbemi, who is Chairman Ekiti State Muslim Traditional Rulers, prayed for the repose of the departed soul of Alhaji Imran Shittu Awosanya in Al-Jannah.

Alhaji Awosanya, former official of Learnards Industries Limited, died in the early hours of Saturday 20 July 2019 and was buried same day at the Muslim Cemetery Isasi, Ojo, Lagos State, after a Janazah prayer at his 31 Oba Amusa Avenue, Ikotun, Lagos residence beginning from 2pm after Zuhr.

Hailed from Iperu in Remo Local Government Area of Ogun State, Alhaji Shittu, who died at 76, is survived by two wives, seven children including the Manager Administration of The DEFENDER Newspaper, Hajia Basirat Shittu-Adefaka.
