The Member of the House of Representatives, representing Gerard/Suleja/Tafa Federal constituency of Niger State, Hon Lado Suleja, has denied affiliation with the reformed  All Progressives Congress (rAPC) Lado denied rumours that he has defected from the mainstream All Progressives Congress (APC), to the breakaway Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC).

While speaking with journalists on the issue, Lado said, despite his robust personal relationship with former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who is perceived to have joined the R-APC, he (Lado) did not join the group of defectors.

“I’m a bonafide and card carrying member of the APC. I have, in the past, held the post of National Youth Leader of the party,” he stated.

He explained further that his relationship with Kwankwaso, is personal, just as he shares his political ideologies, “I’m still a member of the APC,” he insisted.

Lado noted that as a founding member of the party, his loyalty remains with the party; “My loyalty remains with the APC and President Muhammadu Bubari,” he added.
