June 12: Presidential Planning Committee announces road diversion at celebration

As President Muhammadu Buhari leads Nigeria into the maiden celebration of June 12 as Democracy Day in the country, Presidential Planning Committee for the ceremony has announced road diversion with a view to easing traffic situation while occasion lasts.

This is according to a diversion plan sent Tuesday to The DEFENDER by the Office of the Minister of Information signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha.

Mustapha, who is Chairman Planning Committee for the June 12, 2019 Democracy Day Celebration said the June 12 celebration holds Wednesday in Abuja, the Nigeria’s capital city.

A) Diversion ‘A’ Water Board/Deeper Life Junction;

B) Diversion ‘B’ Aso Drive by DSS Headquarters-DPO Mpape;

C) Diversion ‘C’ FCDA by Finance Headquarters;

D) Diversion ‘D’ Bayelsa House;

E) Diversion ‘D’ Gana-Transcorp Hilton;

F) Diversion ‘F’ NITEL Junction by Ahmadu Bello Way;

G) Diversion ‘G’ Kur Mohammed by Benue House;

H) Diversion ‘H’ NNPC Tower;

I) Diversion ‘I’ Federal Secretariat Phase III under the bridge;

J) Diversion ‘J’ Behind Foreign Affairs under the bridge;

K) Diversion ‘K’ FCDA by POWA

L) Diversion ‘L’ Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Expressway (Inter Section into 3 Arm Zone);

Road diversion commences from midnight on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 to 3pm Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
