Following The DEFENDER’s publication which turned all the Fayose’s information that he already fed the public with to be nothing but fake, the Ekiti State governor went ahead not only threatening to release 11 damaging photos to prove his information that Buhari’s health condition was so critical that he would no longer be fit to continue as President but also, it was gathered that, Fayose threatened that he would commit suicide if Buhari returned to Nigeria alive.  A respondent of The DEFENDER however sympathised with the government and people of Ekiti for being ruled by a governor who lived on superstition saying, “The pastors and herbalists who give them confidence of what is coming is the reason they are so confidently destroying themselves, Fayose not an exemption.”

Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Dave Umahi, has described the recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari as a miracle.

Umahi, a governor of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is one of the seven governors that visited President Buhari in London on Wednesday.

Speaking on the visit, Umahi reportedly noted that the President’s recuperation is going on smoothly, as opposed to naysayers whom he says are saying otherwise on social media.

It would be recalled that Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of Umahi’s PDP Governors’ Forum, Ayodele Fayose, had been all over the place from social media to traditional media using his immunity as a state governor to feed the public with what has now become fake news about the health condition of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Fayose had repeatedly said Buhari was on life support in a London hospital and that the “hurried” visit of his wife, Aisha, to London following his vituperation was confirmation of the information he threw into the public space.

But Aisha, The DEFENDER can confirm, did not leave Nigeria in hurry to meet her husband in London as she still had a stop over in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital where she addressed the conference of Africa’s First Ladies before the finally proceeded to London two days after.

Finally putting a nail on the coffin of Governor Fayose’s long time of misrepresentations about the President who is in London on medical vacation, a governor from his own party and Governors’ Forum, Umahi reportedly noted that the President’s recuperation is going on smoothly, as opposed to naysayers whom he says are saying otherwise.

“We met a cheerful President whose level of recovery is a miracle. We know he will soon return home as soon as his doctors certify him to do so. What he’s treating is not mere malaria that we can say he will return today or tomorrow,” he said.

“However, we are happy and we thank God for what we saw. It is contrary to the pictures people are painting on the social media. The President we saw is recuperating well and we are happy for that.

“It is even better that, we as members of the opposition party, are among the entourage. Nigerians should continue to pray for the President.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has been in London for the past 80 days, where he is receiving medical care.

A few days ago, a delegation led by APC chairman John Oyegun had visited Buhari.
