“Mock Elections”: Buhari floors Atiku in 24-hour Poll

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has emerged winner of a mock poll posted on the Facebook of a trusted Nigerian media practitioner.

President Buhari, who is All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate for the February 16, 2019 presidential election, contested with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is presidential candidate of the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

From the 264 total votes, President Buhari polled 245 votes representing 92.80 percent of total votes while Atiku polled 07 votes representing 02.65 percent of total votes in the poll where total invalid votes were 12 representing 04.55 percent.

At the stage-by-stage voting, Buhari polled 156 at stage one while Atiku polled 04 votes; the President polled 62 at stage two while Atiku polled 01 and the APC candidate polled 27 at final stage three while Atiku polled 02.

The journalist himself an unpretending believer in believer of President Buhari, said he was challenged by an Atiku’s strong supporter to post a mock on his “Prince Bashir Adefaka on Facebook” wall and that he would see that Atiku would defeat the President.

As a result of this, he posted at exactly 12.58 am (midnight) of January 20, 2019 informing his followers of both his journalism and social media activities that: “Somebody just challenged me: Post a Vote between Buhari and Atiku on your Wall, Atiku will win” and then he urged, “LET’S VOTE, TYPE: BUHARI OR ATIKU 24HRS” , he posted.

A chief of Oke Ogun, Oyo State and practicing Pharmacist in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Chief Jibreel Adebayo Olaniran also an independent Facebook activist, was appointed as Collator of the votes.

Pharmacist Olaniran, in announcing the final results of the Polls collated in three stages, declared in an inbox sent to The DEFENDER that President Muhammadu Buhari, Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is winner defeating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

FINAL POLL RESULTS AS AT 10.28 P.M, MONDAY 21ST OF JANUARY,2019 AT THE END OF 24 HOURS.

Total votes cast:

Buhari. => 156 + 62 + 27 = 245 votes => 92.80%
Atiku. => 04 + 01 + 02 = 07 votes => 02.65%
Invalid => 04 + 05 + 03 = 12 votes => 04.55%
Grand Total => 164 + 68 + 32 = 264 votes
