Nigerian Hajj Commission mourns death of Adam Patel

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria commiserates with the World Hajj and Umrah Convention (WHUC) over the loss of one of its own, Lord Adam Patel, who died on the 29th of May 2019 in his home in Blackburn, England.

A condolence message by the commission, sent to The DEFENDER, was personally signed by Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Barrister Abdullahi Muhammad, on behalf of the commission’s management.

“In his lifetime, he had been a patron of the British pilgrimage to Makkah and a champion of the Muslim community of Great Britain.  He was also a patron to many schools, health and hospitals, philanthropist who excelled in empowerment of the working class. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria is part of beneficiaries of Late Adam Patel’s words of wisdom normally delivered during the world Hajj and Umrah convention in London attended regularly by the Commission.

“The Hajj and Umrah communities and indeed the entire Muslim world will surely feel the vacuum, which createdloss of Sir Adam Patel. NAHCON joins the world in praying for gentle repose of his soul in JannatulFirdaus,” the statement said.
