*Say, “Expose, take action on them, leave who will call you names to us”

Fabiyi however spoke further, “Mr. President can’t be afraid of any rule of law. His able vice is a professor of law. He can only carefully follow the rule of law not afraid of it. But obviously, he is scared of what his stand-by enemies would say and what they can plan against him. The 1984 experience is a lesson…Mr. President should deal with these criminals and leave the rest to us. The hardship isn’t palatable.”

As it has now become clear that many businessmen particularly those in the business of bulk distribution of products and other commodities have played roles in efforts to make Nigerian masses suffer untold hardship due to their hoarding activities, citizens committed to supporting the current administration’s resolve to fix Nigeria have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to go ahead and deal with those it discovers as responsible for what they call artificial fuel scarcity in the country and leave the rest to them.

They pointed out that it had become known to them the reason they had not seen the “GMD” – General Muhammadu Buhari in “PMB” – President Muhammadu Buhari over the activities that these marketers, weather as food distributors or as petroleum marketers, have perpetrated to the detriment of the masses of the Nigerian people was because of fear that if the President used power against them, some elements in the media and other members of the public would call him tyrants.

One of the experience of queues at filling stations in Abuja while marketers feed fat selling legally lifted fuel illegally to black marketers.

They then vowed that the President should, as a matter of urgency, “swing into action and deal decisively with the saboteurs particularly of the current artificial fuel scarcity and leave whoever would sympathise with them to us”.

This was the conclusion of a discourse convened by Prince Ade on his Facebook Wall on Monday where he called on citizens to indicate their readiness to join in the fight against saboteurs of fuel supply and their sympathizers, saying, “This time there is no fuel scarcity but oil marketers’ celebration of open economic terrorism to force FG increase fuel pump price”.

Prince Ade gave a clear stand on the fuel situation and said, “Once again I want to remind us that the artificial fuel scarcity we see now is in continuation of the effort of #CirruptionFightBack elements who would never want the success of any government that the people can properly call their own.

“The ability of the government to cut them to sizes depends solely on your not taking side when actions are being taken against them.  If you are ready to cooperate day AYE!”

Responding, over twelve Nigerians from across the country indicated their readiness to support stiff actions against the artificial fuel scarcity that they expressed dismay had caused untold hardship for innocent Nigerians and they were more disappointed that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and some non-government organizations (NGOs) who should know better what had happened were making it look like the fuel scarcity was due to inability of government.

Among indicators of readiness to support were Muhammad Bukhari Cissay (North), Babajide Oshodi, Rabiu Waliu Bolaji, Lukman Oladipupo Agbomabiwon (South West), Taiba Kikelomo Ajeigbe (North) and Edmund Kaine (South East) among others.

In his comment, Lukman Agbomabiwon said, “I am ever ready to lay down my life anytime when the President is ready…I am ready to lead the team.”

Former Director General of PRODA, Engr. Edmund Kaine, who also took part in the discourse, said, “Any actions would be 30 years overdue.”

Speaking from Osogbo, in the State of Osun, a pharmacist, Alhaji Jibreel Adebayo Olaniran, said, the oil marketers responsible for the artificial fuel scarcity “are economic terrorists that must be treated like coup plotters!”

But in his contribution which went upside-down at the discourse, Kunle Adams said, “Water will never dry on ground.  Once upon a time, a pupil was asked by his siblings why he scored 5 percent in an examination.  He said the examination question was changed by the invigilators.”

The discourse picked back however as Aminu Abdulkarim anticipated people who would not see good thing in supporting the government to deal the saboteurs under disguise of human rights abuse.  He however indicated that he would surely part of actions against them all inclusive should the government kickstart it.  “However, I know wailers will still shout human right abuse.”

In the same vein, a real estate practitioner in Lagos, Mr. Isaac Fabiyi said on another similar post by Prince Ade saying, “Mr. President is scared of what his enemies will say. And scared of gang up by those legislooters. So, all the criminals are walking free and threatening all of us as if we don’t have a government. They have gagged PMB. He can’t just allow them to continue this nonsense as the bucks stop at his desk. When the hardship becomes unbearable, it’s PMB’s name people will call, no one will mention any saboteur. Mr. President should deal with these criminals and leave the rest to us. The hardship isn’t palatable.”

Fabiyi however spoke further, “Mr. President can’t be afraid of any rule of law. His able vice is a professor of law. He can only carefully follow the rule of law not afraid of it. But obviously, he is scared of what his stand-by enemies would say and what they can plan against him. The 1984 experience is a lesson.”
