The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Thursday, ordered committee chairmen to round off work on the 2017 budget.
The Committee chairmen that were yet to submit their report on the 2017 Budget were excused by the Senate President from chambers for them to quickly address outstanding issues.
Saraki noted that the leadership of the National Assembly want the budget to be passed in record time.
It was also gathered that there was a leadership meeting of both chambers on the 2017 budget, yesterday night at the home of the Senate president
