*Says President checkmating powers behind corruption in Nigeria

A Canada-based coalition, Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria, has called on Nigerians to totally reject the coalition party of a former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 general elections.

It says the ongoing administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has restored confidence in the 11,000-member group home and abroad that putting corruption to its lowest is possible and so, that they should vote for the President to continue as he is checkmating the powers behind corruption in the country.

In an exclusive message to The DEFENDER on Sunday, President of group, Mr. Waheed Seriki, said “it would be disastrous and setback for the country if either PDP or Obasanjo’s coalition of looters were allowed to take over government in Nigeria.”

The Canada-based anti-corruption fight activist, who said his group has direct impacts in participation fully in voting in their home country, said one of the best thing that Nigerians can do to themselves lately is to vote President Buhari to continue the “enormous task of infrastructural and economic development of the country” as it is doing.

Noting that Nigeria will lose the battles against corruption if Buhari fails to win 2019 election, the coalition leader said, “It will be a big victory for the powers behind corruption and looters because the looting of nation’s resources will resume in full scale.”

Seriki, who is also the Publisher/CEO of People’s Voice Reporters in Canada, concluded warning that,  “The consequences of Buhari’s not to continuing as President in 2019 will be so disastrous that the ongoing infrastructural projects and mass economic development will be stalled by the greedy and selfish politicians and there will be no more hope for Nigerian masses.”
